Hi! Ryota here~ This is the Frequently Asked Questions corner. I’ll be putting things here that I’ve been asked multiple times so please, refer to this post here before asking me about something ^^
GENERAL QUESTIONS
1.) What’s your main blog?
—> My main blog is kanasmusings.tumblr.com. This is where I post all of my translations for songs, drama CDs, magazine articles, etc. This is also where I generally post all the subtitles I’m working on! This blog is generally TsukiPro, StarMyu, Twisted Wonderland, and UtaPri but, I post a lot of other stuff like SERVAMP and Engeki Haikyuu, too ^^
Meanwhile, tsukiprotranslations.tumblr.com is my sideblog where I’ve compiled all available translations (mine and other people’s) for TsukiPro~
It’s more of a compilation blog to make it easier for people to find any available TsukiPro content ^^
2.) Am I open for requests?
—> Currently, the only requests I’m accepting are for small projects like songs, written interviews, or short drama tracks. Requests for big projects like stage play subs are currently not available.
QUESTIONS REGARDING TRANSLATIONS
1.) Can I re-translate [insert title here] into my native language?
—> The answer is, no IF the original source is easily found. This includes things like songs, magazine articles, storybooks, etc. Any material that is written, I cannot allow to be re-translated.
There are bound to be meanings that may get lost from the original if it’s re-translated into another language BASED from an English translation.
Oh! For Vietnamese re-translations, the only one I gave permission to translate anything to Vietnamese is rubymikun on Tumblr ^^
2.) Can I use your translations/audio tracks to make a video?
—> I’m sorry but, no. I do not want to be associated with posting of songs/dramas/videos on YouTube. Thank you for understanding ^^
